Sure do!! I haven't tried it but it did look and smell delish!!
The usual method is to raise your right hand until it it just above your head, make eye contact with the waiter, and say "may I please have a fork?"
The only traditional Chinese cuisines in New Mexico. Luck to have it in town.
I love the atmosphere and the service. The service is very friendly and very hardworking people. Charismatic, as well I should say! My favorite dish is their Soy Sauce Pork and House Tofu. This is the place where it proves that Albuquerque DOES have REAL Chinese food. Especially if you are looking for Northern style. I still need to make my friends there. I enjoy every bit of it.
Good food, good and friendly service and large serving's
Here is the menu if you would like to have a bite of Chinese food.
We weren't aware of the portions. That is the only thing I can think of being an issue. Otherwise everything was amazing food environment. Much different from the Santa Fe chopstix but I think the food is on another level. Definetly worth a favorite in my opinion.
Great prices, tons of food for your money, but most importantly... AUTHENTIC! You have Dan Dan noodles, which are a huge favorite of mine. The potstickers are just wonderful with a nice thin skin and the beef with noodles was perfect. Very very pleased and I'll definitely be back.
Chopstix is my go-to spot for Chinese food 100%! I go at least once a week. Their lunch special is super affordable and comes with soup, fried rice, and an egg roll! Plus the "wall" menu items are authentic and delicious. They have lots of vegetarian options so it's easy to bring along your leaf eating friends. My personal favorite lunch special is the General Tso tofu with hot and sour soup. My all time favorite wall item is the Japanese egg tofu with pork! It's soft tofu that's fried and served in a sauce. I can't get it anywhere else in Albuquerque!! The staff are incredibly friendly and hard working people. I highly recommend eating here.
Will be my go to from now on. Food was delish!
Food was authentic and excellent. Wait staff were very nice and accommodating. Will be going back again. Little gem hole in the wall.
One of my favorites for Chinese cuisine. All the Americanized dishes you expect and a huge variety of traditional dishes you won't find at most other Asian restaurants. Any dish can be ordered spicy also. Only place Jackie Chan would eat at when he was in town filming.
Thank God for duck sauce lol when leavin salt alone you find that soy salt is salty lol
Authentic Chinese food in Albuquerque. Ask for the menu items on the wall. Lunch specials are great deals, and goes till 4 pm.
I was stuck in the bathroom the next morning from the food. We went late at night & they must of have us the old left-overs. Worst diarrhea ever. It's been a long time since I felt like that
I am Chinese and I can tell you the food there are authentic Chinese food. Food tastes great. The price is pretty fair.
Awesome place the food is fantastic and the service is very good. I would recommend this establishment to all of my friends and family.
Chopstix is one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. The owners and staff are great and so is the food.
Yummytown! Garlic green beans and ma pos. I’m in heaven!
This used to be a really good Chinese restaurant, but my experience tonight was dreadful. Meat came out still frozen in the center, then microwaved (drying it out) and re-served on same plate instead of being tossed and remade. The server was observed grabbing bread with bare hands to put on plate to serve. The female server seemed very rushed although she only had 3 tables total. She would often drop plates off at the table without even talking to us. The food was requested to come out together, but came out across a ten minute range of distribution.Worse yet, the server seemed to ignore my girlfriend each time she came to the table, on times when she talked. No eye contact. It was her meat plate that was cold, but the female server only addressed me throughout the entire interaction. This was very off-putting. We won't be going back to this restaurant.
1.95 for a can of coke? Are you kidding me? Warm...
The spot to go in ABQ if you are looking for super authentic Cantonese or Sichuanese foods. The employees are always super friendly to me and my family, and they even remembered our allergen information between visits.Every single menu item I have tried is extremely tasty. They make everything fresh to order without MSG. Some of my personal favorites are off the wall menu in the restaurant itself - Spicy and numbing beef tendon salad, sichuan style fish and silken tofu, and the dried bamboo with bean curd. Other regular menu items I love are the sugar vinegar ribs, dong-po pork, fresh and salted pork soup, and house green beans. There is a large variety of foods, so every diet can be happy here. Now, their dining area is not the best. Most of the time when I see people have problems with Chopstix its because they don't like the dining area. Yes it's a bit dingy, but don't let it scare you off! The food is the real star of the show and it keeps them on the map of must try hidden gems.
Fast service, fresh tasty food! I had the Jackie Chan special.
Man, this place is so consistent and they have the best cashew chicken in the whole city. They always let me sub the soup for an extra spring roll, and their hot mustard with the rolls is so good. The cashews are kind of soft and blended well into the dish, plus the chicken's taste and texture is perfect. Awesome little place.
I really don't like eating at restaurants, but sometimes I have to. This place has really good prices on the daily specials. Lots of Vegan options. I only call ahead and order and pick it up. It's very good, you will not be disappointed.
Dank. There are much better cleaner places. The rice was so hard. Irredeemable. The pork belly was good but needed rice.
Not a good place for tofu. Maybe it's my personal preference but I like my tofu sauteed. It was like eating raw tofu with sauce on it. The staff and owners are very friendly.
It's not the best neighborhood or the fanciest spot, but I love this place. Have been going here for many years. The house tofu could make anyone think they love tofu. The Dan Dan noodles are delicious. The service is so friendly. I won't get too far into details, but on several occasions they have treated my family like theirs. Try it.
Love this place. Good quality of food and very friendly service
Excellent Food. Good service. Reasonably priced. Atmosphere not great, but no horrible either. Best in Albuquerque in my opinion.
Best Chinese in Abq! Most Authentic. Great vegetarian choices.
Absolutely horrid. My wife, my seven year old son, and I all got food poisoning from this unkempt scum pit. Very deceiving restaurant. A call has been made to the health board and from what it sounds like they have received quite a few complaints as well as violations. Patrons beware!
Phenomenal local Chinese food. The meat is the highest quality I have seen in a local asian restaurant in abq period. The service is great and the menus are varied and easy to read. The good tastes delicious, and is clearly prepared to order. The prices are fair. If you like Chinese in abq this is a must.
We once stopped here without knowing the name of the restaurant or just knowing they had the best Chinese food we had in a while. 2 years later it took us more than 30 mins to find the restaurant but totally worth it! I love this restaurant and it's delicious Tofu.
Chopstix is a good Chinese restaurant. The service is good, the lunch menu is cheap and filling. The food isn't gourmet, but neither is the price. I would call it classic modestly priced Chinese food that still has the essence it should just without pomp or frill. They use tomatoes more than any Chinese restaurant I've ever known. I usually eat everything on my plate and its cheap enough I usually pay for everyone.(which is not usually lol)
Food is always fresh and flavorful. Reasonably priced, especially for lunch specials
Very good food! Because of indifferent service and somewhat dirty bathrooms, they lose a star. I'll adjust if a future experience is different.
I like the variety of the menu that gives you enough choices. There service is decent too. I take one star down for the flavour: some of them taste okay even you modify from what a dish should be( like using celery芹菜 for the 鱼香肉丝. We also ordered green beans but some of them taste..not so fresh. Still a good place for Chinese food for ABQ. May only win 3 stars compare to those from big cities.
Service was ok, food was decent... And then we found a little meal worm in the beef noodle soup. So needless to say I have some food safety concerns. They took the noodle soup off of the bill, but there's no way we will ever be back.
Food is pretty great, with lots of vegetarian options and a few things for vegans. Prices are reasonable, hovering around $10. Waiter was very friendly. The service was pretty slow, though. It took like 25 minutes for our food to come out.
The restaurant was old looking and worn down. The food was not tasty at all in my opinion. Staff was very short with us and took forever to bring our check. Won’t go back.
So good!! Lots of food for the price. I got the sesame tofu and it was perfect :-)
Excellent selection of Chinese food, including authentic dishes (at least not just the standard, “Americanized“ dishes) however there’s also the lunch buffet for those not so interested in the more esoteric dishes
I quite honestly think I just had experienced divine intervention through eating dinner here at Chopstix. Wow. I mean WOW. I’m confident that my meal here was in the top 5 meals I’ve ever consumed. The service was great, but the food was off the charts! Such unique and flavorful dishes. We went big and ordered nine (9) dishes and they were nothing short of incredible. The flavor of each meal was on another level. I highly recommend this spot as it has the best Chinese food I’ve ever consumed. End of story.
Best chinese food I've ever had!... Definitely a go to...
Good food, good price, nice small place with a comfortable dining area. Staff was great for our visit and we'll be back soon!
Everything was awesome. I had the twice cooked pork and my wife had the 'Jackie Chan.' BEWARE the mustard, it's wicked spicy and awesome!
I had the General Tao Chicken on the lunch menu. It was very affordable and very tasty. The service was great. I wouldn't know too much about this, but I understand Chopstix is known for having more traditional food than other Chinese restaurants. I recommend it!
This place is nice. The food and style is more authentic and is definitely a hidden jewel. I've been here a few different times and found lunch time to be my fave. Inexpensive and portions are good. It's quite a drive from my house but worth it for sure. Service is great too. Also good for vegetarian dishes!!
ALWAYS hot, fresh, amazing. Everyone is friendly and remembers the regulars. Nothing generic or microwaved here! Get the crispy tofu.A++++++++++++++++++++++
Outstanding customer service fast and hot food traditional and authentic the hand rolled dumplings are the way to go. This is a mom and pop run restaurant do not expect 4 star Cuisine or presentation this is straightforward good food done well.
The portions are the best thing. The fried rice tasted so old. The duck sauce packet was expired. The dining area didn’t look like it had been wiped down or vacuumed for a few days. I wouldn’t recommend
